SIESS, which stands for “Scientific Infrastructure and Equipment Sharing System” was created with the aim of further developing the cooperation initiatives carried out by ADItech. It involves registering the scientific equipment in the entire region in order to increase knowledge and cooperation between innovation agents and make more efficient use of publicly funded resources.

SIESS now has more than 1,200 pieces of equipment and elements of infrastructure shared by 12 entities.
In its first two years, SIESS was a Platform restricted to research staff from technology centres, research centres and universities in the region. Now anyone can consult SIESS openly and accessibly.

In addition to publishing and updating the Platform, a SIESS Community has been created in which representatives from each participating entity meet regularly to make decisions on the evolution of the platform and its future, and learn about the unique equipment available in depth.
